The Pride of the Cotswolds Awards, held in conjunction with Ecotricity are delighted to be returning for a second year, to recognise the outstanding achievement of men, women, children and organisation across the Cotswolds.
Sponsors and last year's winners meet at the New Lawn
The Pride of the Cotswolds champion all those who deserve recognition for their selfless, brave or generous actions during the past year and provide an opportunity to honour and celebrate the people who have touched all our lives.
Hundreds of nominations were made last year by families, friends, associates and work colleagues who wanted to celebrate the unsung heroes in our community and acknowledge the achievements they made without a thought of personal reward or public recognition.
This year we want to hear from even more people. The Gloucestershire Gazette, The Wilts & Glos Standard and The Stroud News & Journal will give extensive coverage of the awards, running over 5 months where readers are invited to nominate people, groups and businesses within each category.
A panel of judges, including the Editor, Michael Purton, sponsors from each category and key individuals from the county will root out the finalists and winners from all the entries.
All shortlisted nominees will be invited to a glitzy awards ceremony at The Forest Green Rovers Football Club in September where there will be tears, laughter and applause from the room as the stories of these unsung heroes unfold….
Don’t delay make your nomination today:
Please note: All nominations are accepted in good faith, and on the basis that both the nominee and the person making the nomination consents to the publication by the awards organiser of all information provided in print, online and on social media.
