TWO crews from Yate Fire Station were called to a blaze at a barn in Westerleigh early on Sunday morning.
Firefighters found 25 tonnes of logs well alight when they arrived at Dodmoor Farm on Broad Lane just after 12.30am.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service spokesman Steve Magg said: "They extinguished the fire with a hose jet and the farmer assisted them by using a digger to pull the logs apart."
He said the fire had been started deliberately.
