FIRE crews were called to a car on fire after an accident near Hambrook last night.
The crash happened on the M32 southbound carriageway between junction 19 of the M4 and junction 1 of the M32.
Several vehicles were involved but all the occupants escaped unharmed, however, one car burst into flames shortly afterwards.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service sent three crews, from Temple and Speedwell stations, at 5.11pm on Thursday (January 9).
Spokesman James Bladon said: “Once crews arrived they found all the occupants of the vehicles were out of their cars following the collision but one car was on fire.
“These used breathing apparatus and hose reels and foam to bring the fire under control.”
The cause was accidental.
