THE BODIES of a man and a woman have been found at a property in Yate.

Police were called to Cherington in the town at around 11.10am this morning. The deaths are being treated as unexplained.

An investigation has been started to establish what has happened and police say their enquiries are on-going.

South Western Ambulance Service sent a Harzardous Area Response team to the site as a precaution.

A spokesman for the service said that they confirmed that a 46-year-old male and a female were dead at the scene.
