THE fire and rescue service was called to a lorry on fire carrying fuel in Gloucester.
At 3.53 yesterday afternoon firefighters from Glocucester south and Stroud were called to the incident on Bristol Road, Hardwicke.
Fire crews used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire which severely damaged one flatbed lorry.
Crews confirmed that no fuel was involved.
The fire service was on the scene for 30 minutes.
