A FIRE broke out at an abattoir in Westerleigh last night.
The electrical blaze is believed to have started accidentally at Tulip Fresh Meats Ltd in Oakleigh Green at 9.41pm on Tuesday (April 12).
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one high pressure hose reel and a CO2 extinguish to put out the fire which started in a plant room of the abattoir.
A spokesman for Avon Fire and Rescue Service said the two fire crews, one from Yate and one from Kingswood, later used a ventilation fan.
No-one is believed to have been injured in the incident.
