Firefighters tackle workshop blaze in Emersons Green
FIREFIGHTERS were called to Emersons Green on Wednesday to tackle a blaze that affected a number of outbuildings and single storey workshops.
Four fire engines were alerted to the incident on Howsmoor Lane at 11.37pm, and once on scene crews worked to extinguish the fire which caused also damage to a van, a lorry and a number of trees nearby.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used three high pressure hose reels and a water jet to bring the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
