FIRE fighters were called to a school in Cam this morning after a car caught light.
The car was parked outside Cam Everlands Primary School on Birch Road.
A spokeswoman for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire service was called to a car fire outside Cam Everlands School at 8.34am this morning.
"Two fire engines were sent.
"The fire was put out, the car battery disconnected and a cordon put round.
"The fire service left the scene at 9.34am."
No-one was injured in the incident and staff at the school have been praised for keeping everyone safe.
