TICKETS for this year's Nibley Music Festival, which takes place July 5, go on sale March 22nd at 9am The time of day is critical, as last year all the tickets sold out in just 42 minutes.
Organisers predict another on-line rush as this year they have landed a crop of big hitters.
Headlining are The Heavy – the only band that David Letterman has asked to do an encore on his live show. Carson Daly, who along with Letterman is one of America’s biggest chat show hosts and also the presenter of The Voice USA said of them, “One of the best live bands I think on the planet”. Alongside The Heavy are chart-topping Turin Brakes who have had a string of hits throughout the years, Ivor Novello award winning Emily Barker, Missing Andy, Laid Blak and many more festival favourites. The event has come a long way since its first year in 2007 with internationally renowned acts being drawn to the otherwise sleepy village setting. Despite its success it has stayed true to its roots with all the organisers remaining unpaid volunteers. “We’ve got pretty good at putting on a show I guess”, said one of the organisers Chris Gordon. “It’s become a real passion for all of us, and even though we spend far too much time on this hobby of ours, I think it would leave a big hole in our lives if we were to stop doing it. It’s also great that we can put this part of Gloucestershire on the map.”

Organisers have asked us to remind people that there is a capped capacity that they can’t change and they are really sorry in advance for all the people that will sadly miss out on getting tickets.
