“My personal goal is to get more girls involved with football and get St Nicks more involved with the community.”
Throughout lockdown, St Nicks put on a series of challenges to keep their players busy.
Each challenge had winners receiving a voucher or prize. Their final challenge was to design a new kit, the winner having their design, put to print.
Training has now been able to resume as lockdown has eased and social distancing measure are in place.
Lauren continued, “When we first started training, we had all the measures in places to stay 2 metres apart, regularly wash hands but at the same time still enjoy what we all love.
“Slowly things are getting back to normal with regards to football and as soon as August comes around, we will get to play matches again which the girls and boys love so much.”
