FAMILIES and horse-racing enthusiasts are gearing up to return to Berkeley next month for the annual point-to-point races.
Berkeley Races - which is due to take place on Saturday, April 27 - will again feature seven competitive races taking place in the picturesque Berkeley Vale countryside.
Also taking place will be pony racing and a side saddle dash plus a children’s zone, food court, bar tent, trader stands and live music.
This year will also feature a Monte Carlo paddock game and on-course bookmakers.
Gates open at 10am, with pony racing from 12pm and the first race at 2pm.

The racecourse is located at Woodford, near Berkeley (GL13 9JU), which can be accessed from the A38 at Stone.
