POLICE have issued an update after a 10-year-old boy was strangled and pushed up against a fence in South Gloucestershire.
Officers say the incident happened in Soundwell Road, Soundwell at around 7.45pm on Friday, March 22 - located near Kingswood.
A spokesperson from Gloucestershire Police said: "Last week we issued an appeal to identify a man who we wanted to talk to following a report of an assault on a child in Soundwell back in March.
"We're pleased to say thanks to help from the public, he has been identified.
"Enquiries into the incident continue."
