A POPULAR Yate pub has gone back on the market after being closed for the majority of the last year.
The White Lion on Church Road is on the market with rental offers invited for a new tie lease after previous lease holders left the dwelling.
Dating back to the late 17th century, the pub has been hugely extended over the years and now has ten letting rooms as wellas capacity to complete 200 covers inside or almost 400 if the outside is also utilised.
The pub also has a commercial kitchen and cold store- two bars a function room, two spacious beer gardens and a large car park with room for 55 vehicles.
Fleurets' who are advertising the pub said the pubs "highly prominent town centre position will attract both passing and local trade. This is a significant business opportunity to develop a high turnover multi income stream public house with rooms."
However, owners Stonegate expect new managers to "take it to the next level."
On their website, Stonegate regional manager Isabelle Whitehouse said: "The White Lion is a busy destination local’s pub with 10 letting rooms that have a high occupancy rate. An ideal location for not only locals but for those travelling through on a short break or business trip.
"This operation requires someone who can run a large business and has catering experience. Although a good, profitable business we expect our next publican to take it to the next level."
The property also comes with a amanagers flat
Previous managers Inn Close management faced backlash from existing staff when furlough money wasn't paid after they took over the business last February.
