THERE will be an opportunity to hear the Oriana Singers' moving performance of J S Bach’s St. John Passion in St James’ the Great Church, in Dursley, on Saturday, April 14.
The choir will be accompanied by the Severn Strings Orchestra, led by Justine Tomlinson, and welcomes back, for the third time, soloists Gillian Wells, Olivia Gomez, Sam Jenkins and David Child, who delighted last year’s packed church in a highly-acclaimed performance of Handel’s Messiah.
The concert starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £12.50 and are free for under-16s. They can be bought at Durcan’s in Parsonage Street, Dursley, at the door or by emailing the choir at orianasingers@hotmail.com
