WILDWOOD Jack, a unique acoustic guitar and ukulele duo from Kent, will be performing in the Oldridge Bar at Kingshill House in Dursley on Friday, 14 October. Their melodic songs blend the acoustic guitar and ukulele with outstanding fingerstyle playing, drawing influences from folk, country and world music. They embrace the troubadour lifestyle and spend large parts of the year touring across the UK, Europe and New Zealand.
'Wildwood Jack' is their name for the independent spirit of music. Their wide repertoire draws from an eclectic songbook as well as instrumentals and heart warming original songs.Their music has been described by R2 Magazine as “Engaging, uplifting, filled with memorable memories and clever hooks”.
For those who would like to eat, there will be a home cooked supper served in the bar, (with a veggie option), plus a pudding. The bar and kitchen will be open from 7pm with the entertainment starting around 8pm. There’s no entry fee but the house is passed around.
