SYDNEY WILLIAM PHILP "SYD" It is with great sadness to announce that Syd passed away in Thornbury on 11th April, aged 90 years. Loving husband of Margaret, much loved Father of Ian, Judith, Lynne and Tracy, Father-in-law to Lee, Duncan, Margo and Gary. A wonderful Grandfather and Great-grandfather (Fuff) to Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. A small family funeral will take place, but a Thanksgiving Service to celebrate Syd's full life will be arranged at a later date. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Syd, will be gratefully received by cheque, payable to Thornbury in Bloom, c/o Thornbury Garden Shop.
