SELL Derek Francis 26/04/1931- 08/04/2021 Derek was born in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, he was the eldest of 3 children. Growing up Derek loved music, cars and football, training as a mechanic on leaving school. At the age of 18 he joined the RAF, travelling Europe playing for foreign dignitaries and the Queens Coronation as part of the RAF Band. Derek and his wife Mary started their married life by moving to Dursley where he worked for R.A Lister and was a member of Listers Band. Derek loved and lived, to care for and cherish his family and close friends. Derek had 4 Children, 10 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. He was privileged to have 5 generations of family whom he loved dearly. Derek will be sadly missed, never forgotten and greatly loved always.
