PHYLLIDA PARSLOE Professor emeritus, D. Sc., beloved sister of John Parsloe and his wife Maggie, and beloved aunt of their children, Thomas, Alice and William, died on 1st September, aged 90, at The Lion House, Thornbury, after a long illness in the devoted care of Georgios Kalampokas. There will be a committal at the Quaker burial ground in Lower Hazel on the morning of Wednesday 22nd September. There will be a service at 2.30 p.m. at the United Reformed Church, Chapel St., Thornbury, South Glos. BS35 2BA. Phyllida was a Quaker and the service will be based on Quaker practices. Unfortunately for Covid reasons, numbers have to be limited but the service will be zoomed, so anyone wishing to attend or watch the service should contact Gulwells on 01454 418779. After the service everyone who was a friend of Phyllida is invited, whether they attend the Service or not, to a reception at Phyllida's house, The Lion House, Castle Street, although again numbers may have to be restricted, particularly if it is raining and the garden cannot be used.
