Margaret Elizabeth Poole (nee Teagle) 1922 - 2012 Margaret was born at Mayshill, the younger daughter of Leonard and Helen Teagle. At 15 she started work at Frampton Cotterell Post Office before moving on to Parnalls in Yate as war broke out. She married Frederick Poole shortly before Fred took part in the D-Day landings. After the war Margaret and Fred had three sons, Martin, Richard and Nicholas. They moved to Chipping Sodbury in 1951 where the lived for the remainder of their married life. In the late fifties, Margaret also went out to work as the local Post lady, delivering mail to Yate Rocks and beyond. After Fred died Margaret continued to lead an active life, developing a new circle of friends and interests. Above all else, she was a loving Mother and Grandmother to Joanna, Jonathan, Claire and Flora. All the family will miss her.
