NEW head teacher Jeremy McCullough met pupils and their parents at Colston's School before taking up his post later this year.
Mr McCullough chatted with youngsters who were taking exams for year seven entry to the school .
He told parents: "I will also be a new boy starting in September with your sons and daughters and I am very excited about that.
“For me the most important thing is that boys and girls at Colston’s should be happy . Happy pupils work hard, play hard and achieve great things. We want our young people to strive to achieve standards of excellence in everything they do here.”
Mr McCullough is currently second master at Lancing College, an independent co-educational school in West Sussex, while the interim headmaster at Colston’s is deputy head Pete Goodyer.
The school has organised an information evening for parents in Frampton Cotterell on how to choose the next school for their children.
It will be held in Crossbow House, School Road, on Wednesday, February 5, from 7pm-8.30pm.
