A CAR fire on the M5 resulted in two fire engines being rushed to the scene between junctions 13 and 14 on the southbound carriageway.
Firefighters from Stroud Fire Station and Gloucester South Fire Station were sent at around 7.09pm on Wednesday, August 13 after numerous calls from members of the public.
The crews spent 40 minutes dealing with the blaze, using two hose reels and two sets of breathing apparatus.
The car, which was on the hard shoulder, was destroyed in the fire.
