AN ESTATE agent from Thornbury is celebrating being awarded with silver at a national awards, despite launching only 15 months ago.
Lisa Costa Retail Sales and Lettings, which is based on Thornbury High Street, was honoured at the ESTA Estate Agent of the Year awards, taking the second prize for the South West from a shortlist of 15.
The company’s owner, Lisa Costa accepted the award, along with her two daughters Emily and Sophie, and colleague Vicki Lambert at an awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Friday, April 15.
The awards, based on research amongst estate and letting agents' clients, were presented by TV property expert Phil Spencer, with 900 of the country’s top property professionals in attendance.
Ms Costa, who is from Tockington, said: "We would like to wholeheartedly thank everyone who took the time to vote for us and to praise the service we provide. We are truly humbled to see our customers sharing their satisfaction with us with the nation.
"We are immensely proud to serve Thornbury, South Gloucestershire and the South West with a personal, convenient and, we believe, unrivalled local service.
