CHIPPING Sodbury business duo, Linda Banister and Tracy Francksen say they were 'delighted' to host this year’s Women’s Business Event.
The pair, who run Red Door Coaching and Training, organised the evening session at Bristol and Bath Science Park earlier this month.
The free event, sponsored by South Gloucestershire Council, was opened by council chief executive Amanda Deeks, who welcomed 80 women to an evening of interesting speakers and networking opportunities.
Vashti Seth of Deki.com, Fiona Scott from Fiona Scott Media and Ellen Green of The Blue Badge Co all shared inspirational stories and gave relevant and helpful advice to everyone in small businesses and the world of work.
Linda Banister of Red Door said: "We had some really great feedback from this year’s event.
"The women who attended appreciated the opportunity to network and meet up with new and old friends over a glass of wine.
"We are very grateful to South Glooucestershire Council for their continued support of this exciting evening."
