THE Gazette's owner, Newsquest Media Group is donating £10,000 to the British Red Cross National Floods Appeal.
The UK's second-largest regional multi-media publisher has a number of titles in the areas most affected by last weekend's flooding, particularly in Worcestershire. Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Herefordshire.
The Red Cross appeal was launched on Tuesday and has already raised in excess of £300,000.
Money raised by the appeal will be used to support individuals in hardship, support community recovery activities, local appeals and community groups.
The Red Cross is working in partnership with local, regional and national government and other agencies to maximise the impact of the appeal.
