ROALD Dahl's scariest book is brought to life in a tremendously terrifying treat for the whole family this Saturday at the outdoor theatre at Kingshill House Gardens, Dursley.
Downpour Theatre Company will be performing their production of Roald Dahl's The Witches on August 11, bringing to life, a classic from one of Britain's most celebrated children's authors.
Witches absolutely detest children. They find them revolting and are planning to wipe them out like weasels!
They want to squish them and squiggle them and make them disappear. But one brave young boy and his grandmother have a plan to get rid of the witches for good… if only they can avoid being turned into mice.
Can one young boy and his Grandmother defeat the Grand High Witch's plan to turn every child in England into a mouse?
A fun and magically way to spend a summer afternoon.
Performances will take place in Kingshill House Gardens. Bring a blanket to sit on and umbrella if required.
Picnics are permitted. Refreshments available.
Matinee performance at 12pm. Evening performance at 5.30pm.
Not recommended for children 5 years old and under.
