Bricks were thrown at a car in Thornbury this evening, smashing the windscreen.
Police were called at 6.50pm following reports of criminal damage.
A police spokesman confirmed children had thrown bricks at the windscreen of a car on Midland Way.
The incident is the just latest in a string of anti-social acts.
Several vehicles had their tyres slashed, windows broken and wing mirrors knocked off in a spree of vandalism back in August.
Security has recently been increased at Thornbury Hospital following the intimidation of staff and patients.
