The Peak Academy won School of the Year at the Pride of the Cotswolds award ceremony.
The school caters for children who have often experienced a difficult upbringing.
After being nominated in this category last year, the Cam school went one better this time around.
The award follows a change in fortune for the school once placed in special measures.
Sandra Lewis, safeguarding coordinator at the school was also nominated for Teacher of the Year.
She said: “I feel very proud for the pupils and staff at The Peak.
“We have an incredible staff team.
“It’s wonderful to see so many people getting up there and being rewarded for what they do in the community.”
