Juliane Rasch won our healthcare award at the Pride of the Cotswolds awards ceremony.
Juliane works for Gloucestershire County Council, offering short breaks to families of complex, life-limited children.
As these services terminate at the age of 18 she has gone on to work with young people who have transitioned into adult services.
Multiple people who she has helped nominated her in this category.
Upon receiving the award Juliane said: “I am a little bit speechless. I am kind of overwhelmed.”
Juliane described her job as her ‘love and joy’.
“It’s not a job it’s my life,” she added.
