A South Gloucestershire woman has escaped jail, despite a string of theft offences.
Maria Kovacs of Bredon Close in Kingswood, appeared in court on January 7.
She admitted stealing a purse with money and loyalty cards to the value of £140 from Lidl last year.
The incident took place at the store on Halls Road in Bristol on August 16.
Kovacs was then caught on January 4 this year stealing alcohol from a Sainsbury's store in Swindon to a value of nearly £350.
She was given a an 8-week sentence suspended for 12 months and given an electronic tag.
