A POPULAR restaurant in Dursley is continuing to serve up tasty Mexican treats to the community, after a brief period of being up for sale.
The owners of Mexican restaurant El Chico on Long Street decided not to sell their business and are looking forward to welcoming customers back after lockdown with their authentic Latin American cuisine.
El Chico’s have extended the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which gives guests 50 per cent off their entire food and soft drink bill when dining anytime Monday to Wednesday, until the end of September.
Guests can enjoy the vibrant flavours of Mexico, with a menu that features everything from Mexican tapas, to burritos, fajitas, enchiladas, spicy steak and chips, and more.
Classic cocktails, such as tropical favourites the mojito, pina colada and tequila sunrise are on offer, plus bottled beers, wine and a full range of spirits.
One guest commented: ‘Great food and atmosphere’ on the restaurant’s Facebook page, and another noted: ‘Great service! Great cocktails and amazing food! Will definitely be returning.’
The restaurant, which has been a popular eaterie in the area for the past four years, was listed on Right Move, but it is now not for sale.
