POLICE were forced to close the A38 for a second time in less than a week after a motorcyclist was found in the middle of the road near the Berkeley Heath junction.
The biker, a man from Cam, was found at 7.30am this morning.
Police said it was unclear how the man came to fall off his Suzuki GSF 1200sw bike.
The man was taken to Gloucester Royal Hospital with only minor injuries and later released.
The A38 was closed briefly in both directions while police investigated the incident. Some traffic delays were experienced.
The road was also closed throughout the day on Monday after fire broke out at a nearby farmhouse.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Gloucestershire police on 0845 090 1234 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 65 for November 30.
