YATE Town suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of league leaders Tiverton Town at the South West Interiors Stadium.
The Bluebells found themselves behind early on with Alex Fletcher opening the scoring for Tiverton.
Tiverton pressed Yate high, keeping them in their own half and created more chances than the visitors.
Andy Hannah saved a point blank shot only for Tiverton’s Louis Morison long range shot to find the back of the net.
Tiverton showed their worth as table leaders when they hit home their third on 60 minutes, following some spectacular movement to allow Andy Watkins enough space on the right to drill a low shot straight into the far corner.
The Bluebells team included new signings Ricardo Rees, a striker who left Bristol City’s U23s this summer, and Max Williams, a central midfielder who has had trials with Bristol Rovers.
