Fairgame's new production, The Tiler of Gloucester, will be performed at Slimbridge Village Hall at 7.30pm on Friday, December 14.

The Tiler of Gloucester is part of the countywide millennium celebrations and is suitable for all ages. Tickets cost just £3 and are available from Slimbridge Post Office.

Embracing a strong story-telling style and with a cast of exceptionally talented actor-musicians, this tense thriller, laced with mystery, magic and suspense proves that far from being a one-trip pony, this local theatre company has the bottle and verve to challenge as well as entertain their audiences.

In stark contrast to their two previous shows, Keep on Moving and It Was A Glorious Night, The Tiler of Gloucester uses minimalist sets and modern-day costumes to add realism to an intriguing storyline. The epic quality of the underlying flood theme and the ability to tackle recent as well as historical stories, establishes that this ever-evolving theatre company is more than just frocks and frolics.
