THE British School got in the Christmas spirit and helped the local community do the same by putting on a Christmas musical production.
Based around a group of children in an orphanage the story was one of magical sleigh rides, wicked tooth fairies and a little girl called Sasha who saves Christmas.
The whole school was involved with singing, acting and dancing. Parents and staff made lovely costumes and put together an impressive set with numerous props including an ultra-violet sleigh..
The children worked very hard to learn all their words.
Four orphans played by Toby Pinnegar, Holly Butler, Daisy Clutterbuck and Shannon McGuinness saved Christmas by helping Santa to fix his sabotaged sleigh. The wicked tooth fairy (Luke Butcher) and his side-kick Tooth Ache (Tegan Pace) had stolen the stardust distributor and caused havoc.
The show was anything but havoc - with superb singing, dancing and acting. The scenery was spectacular and the audience had a real treat. And of course it all ended happily with Sasha the orphan getting what she most wanted, a family.
