PROMISING a thigh-slapping good time, the Dursley Operatic and Dramatic Society perform a pantomime with a twist.
Jack and Jill and the Beanstalk, written by local author Craig Hewlett and performed by the DODS, will be at the Lister Hall in January.
Join their hapless hero Lazy Jack as he is duped by Conrad Fidence-Trickster and Robin Ublind and trades a camel for some magic beans, which need the help of the Fairy Liquid to grow.
The chorus play the good people of the village of Poverty near Dursley, a community of colourful folk, who break into song and dance at any opportunity.
The panto is showing from Saturday, January 19 to Saturday January 26, matinee at 2pm and 2.30pm and evenings at 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 and £8 and concessions are £5 and £6.
