A YOUNG man was hit over the head with a bottle by hooded youths in Dursley.
Police are appealing for information after a 22-year-old man was assaulted at the rear of the churchyard in Silver Street, Dursley at around 1am on Saturday December 16.
The local man was approached by three youths all wearing hooded tops and hit with a glass bottle.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries to his eye and knee and was discharged later that morning.
Two of the offenders are believed to have been wearing white hooded tops with stripes on the shoulder, while the third was wearing a blue hooded top. One of the offenders was also carrying a baseball bat.
