Two girls have created a piece of art out of old milk bottles to highlight the dangers of single use plastics.
The ‘pop-up’ art installation, now in place along the sea wall at Severn Beach, consists of a flock of birds flying north up the river.
Each bird is made out of a four pint plastic milk bottle.
The artwork has been produced by 11-year-old twins Rebecca and Elizabeth, who are the grandchildren of Thornbury Art Club member Tricia Latham.
It is intended to carry a message about the impact of plastic pollution on bird life.
