THE Big Laugh Café at the Guildhall, Gloucester is hosting a New Year's Eve party for the first time this year.
On Monday doors will open at 8.30pm, with comedy from 9.30pm.
Guildhall publicity officer Gary Chapman said: "The Big Laugh Café will host a stunning party - a night of top-class comedy from three of the UK's best stand-ups, with a complimentary drink on arrival and free, hot party food included in the ticket price." Beer, wine and champagne will be on sale throughout the night. There will also be a big midnight countdown and a late, late bar and party disco spinning into 2008.
Gary Chapman continued: "Headline comedian Jarred Christmas is a wild New Zealander, whose chummy madcap, engaging persona and surreal flights of fancy, are quite frankly, perfect entertainment for the last night of the year..
"He will be joined by the lively, likeable Cole Parker and host Patrick Monahan whose tall stories and matey, engaging banter are sure to please.
"This is the only big New Year's Eve comedy club night in Gloucestershire - and it is going to be a cracker."
