Gloucestershire Constabulary's Roads Policing officers will be helping to escort around 150 Modular Housing Units around the county over the next few months.

The route will be from the M5 through Gloucester to Drybrook via the A40 and A4136.

Yesterday's load was escorted with the assistance from our colleagues from Avon and Somerset Police and today another 10 units are planned to be leaving the M5 at 9.30am.

It is hoped that travel disruption will be kept to a minimum and officers would like to thank all those who have been patient and complied with directions given as the loads take up all of the carriageway in places.
