UNDER the Edge Arts in Wotton is inviting people to submit work for the community arts centre's fourth postcard-sized art exhibition in spring 2008 Any number of artworks with any subject matter and in any style can be submitted - the only condition is that each piece of art should be no larger than a postcard.
In previous years, work has been created in every medium including textiles, drawing, painting, photography, collage, stained glass and marquetry - originals, not photocopies.
Everything submitted will be included in the exhibition so here is a chance to show your work alongside the professionals. In the past, some of the most creative pieces have been submitted by young people so children and schools are encouraged to get involved.
The exhibition of entries will be available to view free at Under the Edge Arts from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16, 2008.
Work will be offered for sale to raise funds for the arts centre - the public will be invited to submit bids to a maximum of £5 for each of the pieces.
An organiser, Neil Young added: "Part of the fun is that all the exhibits will be anonymous, so put your name and phone number on the back only and post or deliver to 52 Pitman Place, Wotton-under-Edge, GL12 7LB, by Friday February 29 2008 at the very latest."
