THE Andrew Hinman collection of tractors, enamel signs, engines and a steam roller are to be offered for sale by Stroud Auctions on Saturday, July 10 at Cocknells Farm, Standish Lane, Moreton Valence.

The collection includes some real rarities, many of which have been sourced from across the globe.

For those after a single cylinder diesel, there’s a Marshall M, 3A and also a 48hp Lanz, or even a Field Marshall project.

Roadless 95 and 115 models also feature. Most are in running and driving order although there are some which would suit those looking for a project, including a part dismantled highly desirable David Brown 50D, with new boxed liners and pistons.

In the stationary engine line there’s a Ruston Hornsby 6AP on road trailer, Bamford Diesel on hand trolley and a large Tangye engine project.

The Wallis & Steevens six ton steam roller is a stunning example with hydraulic certificate dated 2017 and current steam test it is ready to enjoy, as a smaller engine it would be a very practical and affordable steam engine.

More than 300 vintage enamel signs also form a significant part of the collection, and there is something for everyone - motoring, pet food, chocolate, smoking and brewing all feature.

Viewing of the Hinman collection is available only on Tuesday, July 6 from 10am to 4pm and on the morning of the auction, Saturday July 10, from 9am to 11am.

Please note that viewing outside these times will not be permitted.

The Hinman collection forms part of a three day auction which also includes classic cars and motorbikes, of particular interest are a 1919 Harley Davidson, a John Kidson 1977 TT winning Honda motorbike, a lovely Triumph TR3a, 1920s Morris Cowley and a TR4 project.

Along with these will be mote than 1,500 lots of pictures and paintings, books, ephemera, toys and vinyl records.
