Thornbury-based Journeyman Theatre Productions has enjoyed success for a second year running at the Avon Short Play Festival Competition.

Last year they won the prizes for Best Play, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor with their play, Me & You.

This time round the group won Best Original Script, with Tony Domaille’s Life in the Cloud, Ian Cornes won Best Supporting Actor, and Sarah Wiggins retained her Best Actress crown.

Phil Domaille was also nominated for Best Actor.

Tony Domaille said: “It was great to be back in front of an audience and the awards made all the hard work worthwhile.”
