Good luck messages have poured in from across the region as England prepare to face Italy in the final of the Euros.
Thousands of fans will be at Wembley, with millions more watching a home and in pubs across the country. Local leaders have also pledged their support.
Thornbury and Yate MP Luke Hall said: "It is incredible to see our national team go from strength to strength.”
“It’s been amazing to watch the England team over the last few weeks - including Tyrone Mings in the opening game, who started out on his footballing career at Yate Town.”
“Great to see the whole country coming together. Sunday night will be special.”
Leader of South Gloucestershire Council, Toby Savage, said: “I’d like to wish Gareth Southgate and all of the England football team the very best of luck in the Euro 2020 Cup Final.
"Their run in the tournament has given the nation a real lift over the past few weeks and it would be fantastic to see them ‘bring it home’ in the big game against Italy on Sunday evening.”
Stroud District MP Siobhan Baillie said: "‘Good luck to the team on Sunday.
"I have cheered them on all through the tournament and I think they have done the country proud.
"It’s going to be a tough game against the Italians but we will have home advantage and I’m sure that’s a big plus.
"I will be watching at home and I’m really excited, and a little nervous.
"A special mention must go to Gareth Southgate for the brilliant job he has done moulding such a talented team into a real force in international football.
"Come on England!"
Stroud District Council Leader Doina Cornell said: “On behalf of Stroud district, I’d like to wish Gareth Southgate and his great team the very best of luck for the Euro 2020 final.
“He is an inspiring leader, and the England squad is a credit to our country on and off the pitch – they have brought the nation together at a very tough time for us all.”
