Yate and Thornbury MP Luke Hall held a day of action in the South Gloucestershire village of Wick last week.

The MP visited local business Clip, who specialise in custom exhibition stand building and design, to discuss covid-19 recovery support, before holding a surgery in the Wick Café, and at the Rose and Crown Pub.

Locals raised issues with Mr Hall about lorries speeding through the village, potholes, road safety and monitoring the wheel washing and access into the quarry.

Residents also raised issues with parking near the shops, police presence in the village and the need to cut the grass verges.

Mr hall spent time collecting litter with local volunteers and then spent time knocking on resident’s doors to ask their opinion and suggestions on local post-Covid recovery.

Luke Hall said: “I’m really grateful to all the residents who took the time to come and discuss local issues and my Positive Plan for South Gloucestershire.

"If there are any local issues that you need my help with, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me at luke.hall.mp@parliament.uk”
