Passed away peacefully on Monday 4th October, aged 88 years.
Dearly beloved wife of the late Michael, mother of Sharon and Shelagh and sons in law Pete and Laurie.
Much loved gran of Gemma, Scott, Matthew, Laura, Daniel, Georgie, Vicky and Bert and proud great gran of Eva, Hope, Isabella and Sienna.
She will be sadly missed by all.

Pre-service Committal at Westerleigh Crematorium, Waterside Chapel on Monday 25th October 12:30pm with Service of Thanksgiving at St Bartholomew’s Church, Coaley at 2pm followed by refreshments immediately afterwards in the village hall.

Joan and the family would like say thank you for all the lovely messages of condolence at the passing of Doug.
Many thanks again to the NHS for their good care in the last months at home. Also to Reverend Morag Langley and Dean at Grimes & Goscombe for their kindness in organising a lovely service at Westerleigh.
It was clear he was held in high regard by many people.
A memorial service at St Mary the Virgin, Wotton under Edge at 2:30 pm on 23rd October 2021 will celebrate his life and be an opportunity for the family to meet those whose lives he touched.
Donations to Myaware to aid research into Myasthenia Gravis would be appreciated.
