FOR one night only, The Songs of Sister Act will be appearing at the Hippodrome theatre in Bristol on Monday, February 4 at 7.30 pm.

This new high energy concert production stars former Three Degrees singer Sheila Ferguson, the X-Factor's Rowetta and The London Community Gospel Choir. The theatre will fill with the sound of those famous Gospel hits from the Sister Act movies.

The show will have the audience dancing in the aisles to songs including Oh Happy Day, Joyful Joyful, Shout and Ain't No Mountain High Enough. Fancy dress is encouraged..

Manchester born Rowetta began singing as a child, performing in talent competitions before progressing to singing in clubs professionally as a teenager.

In 2004 she entered ITV's X Factor and millions of homes and hearts. Since the TV show Rowetta has released a self-titled album in October 2005; had a guest role in Footballers Wives Extra Time; and appeared in Christmas On Broadway at the O2, London with Marti Webb, Stephen Gateley and Maria Friedman.

Sheila Ferguson, the celebrated lead singer of the legendary Three Degrees has been described as sexy, sassy, sophisticated and sultry.

Her shining and powerful lead vocals spearheaded the group into receiving 28 gold and silver records, along with world-wide acclaim with hits like When Will I See You Again, Take Good Care Of Yourself, Giving Up Giving In and countless others.

Sheila completed her course at RADA and starred in the hit situation comedy show Land of Hope and Gloria for Thames Television.

Her first book was published, in 1989, by Weinenfeld & Nicholson: Soul Food - Classic Cuisine of the American South.
