BRISTOL One Act Drama Festival takes place at the Olympus Theatre, Wise Campus, Stoke Gifford, Bristol from Thursday, February 7 to Saturday, February 9.

The Avon Festival, with more than nine entries and adjudicator Keith Thompson, will take place from Friday, February 22 to Sunday, February 24 at the Playhouse, Backwell.
A CREATIVE art workshop for children aged seven to ten takes place at Under the Edge Arts, Wotton on Saturday, January 26. Claire Failes, a successful published artist and illustrator who lives in Kingswood, will be running the workshop, based around the story of the Elves and the Shoemaker. Participants will explore mark making and 3D design. Claire is currently running a new weekly class, 4 Arty 1s', at the arts centre which is looking for new members - come and try out arty stuff at this weekend workshop.
ARTISTS wishing to take part in this year's Severnvale Open Art Studio Trail and taster exhibition' in Thornbury Town Hall (May '08) should contact Jane Parfitt on 01454 414221 as there is still time to subscribe. If you do not have your own venue, it is hoped there will be the possibility of sharing. Meetings can be arranged during which you will be able to meet other artists.
