POLICE are appealing for information after a 52-year-old woman was indecently assaulted in Patchway.
It happened at about midday on Wednesday, January 16. The woman was walking along Rodway Road and a man was walking towards her. He said nothing to the woman but indecently assaulted her and then carried on his way.
The woman described the man as white, in his late 40s and with a ginger or blond beard. He wore a cap, a dark three-quarter-length jacket, black trousers and brown shoes. She said the man was mumbling to himself and 'skipped' away.
Anyone who recognises the man, or who has any other information which could help police inquiries, is asked to contact Filton Police Station on 0845 456 7000.
