THE streets of Wotton under Edge are set to be transformed into a magical, outdoor gallery this week.
The third annual Wotton Window Wanderland, a window-display-based walking trail involving over 100 properties, is taking place around the town from Thursday (February 3) to Monday (February 7).
Residents have decorated their windows with colourful, ornate designs and hundreds will be walking the streets to marvel at the fantastic displays.
Organiser Martin Clarke said: "The Wotton Window Wanderland provides a great tonic at the lowest point of the year for many people when there are too many bills to pay and so many other pressures.
"This year we expect 120 or so properties to take part."
Windows will be officially lit up from 6pm to 10pm every evening during the trail. Free printed maps are available around the town, and they can also be downloaded via: windowwanderland.com/event/wotton-under-edge-2022/
Martin added: "The event is free to enter and this year Under the Edge Arts is bearing all the costs as a gesture of thanks to Wotton for supporting us over two tough years.
"Special thanks to Kay Tily, Scott Bryce, Spike Woods and Sarah Conroy for the amazing windows at The Chipping Hall."
Martin said this will be his final year as the Window Wanderland organiser.
