WITH SNOW reaching much of the UK many residents are asking whether Yate will receive any.

The Met office's website has no mention of snow in relation to Yate over the coming days.

After a small chance of light rain, there will be sunny intervals until 8pm in Yate before it starts to get partly cloudy.

The Met office says it will be a clear night with temperatures dropping to 1 and 0 degrees Celsius in the early hours.

The temperature will not pick up until around 9am tomorrow morning, when it will start to increase gradually.

Highs of 7 degrees are expected tomorrow with another similar sunny but cold day.

The weather looks set to remain similar across the weekend with little chance of rain.
